Targeted at providing drivers and fleet owners with a “simple, versatile, one-oil solution, Shell Rimula R4X brings high performance at an affordable price, with the additional benefit of triple engine protection, covering the three critical areas of acid, deposit and wear control.
“Rigorous testing and verification by leading industry experts and truck manufacturers showed that the product can offer up to 50% more protection from acid corrosion, up to 50% better engine cleanliness and up to 30% better wear protection than is required to meet API and ACEA standard specifications.
“Thus, Shell Rimula R4X also offers potential savings for drivers and fleet owners through longer oil drain, longer vehicle life and reduced maintenance costs that meet a wider range of industry and original equipment manufacturers’ specifications.
“Shell Rimula R4X works effectively in the demanding environment of engines with Exhaust Gas Recirculation, where oil temperatures are higher. It is also suitable for all pre-US 2007 engines and most Euro IV and V engines (without diesel particulate filters), as well as for a  variety of earlier engine models.”
