Qatar Petroleum (QP) highlighted its strong support to initiatives related to education with its role as one of the premium sponsors of the fifth World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), held last week.
QP’s sponsorship of WISE 2013 is under the directives of HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh al-Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry, and QP’s firm commitment to corporate
social responsibility.
QP’s support to this annual event, which promotes innovation in education, is also in line with the objectives of the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030. QP has long been a part of WISE and in addition to its sponsorship of the event, the company also had an exhibition booth on the sidelines of the event. The QP booth featured its extensive investment portfolio as well as its recently launched corporate vision.
