Al Khaliji France, a subsidiary of Qatar-based Al Khalij commercial bank (al khaliji) recently hosted a business reception for members of the CBEF (Cercle des Banques Etrangères en France).
The reception was hosted by Gilles Dermaux, General Manager of Al Khaliji France at the bank’s building located on the Champs-Elysees. Guests included members of the French business community and leading dignitaries from the banking industry.
The evening party commenced with a welcome speech to the attendees by the President of CBEF followed by  Gilles Dermaux, who reiterated his enthusiasm for the development and growth of Al Khaliji France.  
The reception provided the Heads of Department of Al Khaliji France, an opportunity to interact with the general management of numerous foreign owned banks that have operations in Paris. It was a great way to network and demonstrate a proactive role.
The evening ended on a positive note with a word from Dermaux. “As well as underlining al khaliji’s commitment to France, this event was a great opportunity for us, along with other executives of the Bank, to strengthen our relationship with our valued colleagues and clients”
Al Khaliji France made a net profit of QR 39.4 million by end of June 2013, contributing 17%  of the total revenue  generated for the al khaliji Group.
Al Khaliji France represents 11% percent of the group’s total assets.
