Members of the Kuwait Environment Protection Society prepare to release a green sea turtle at the Jumairah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait City on Sunday. The turtle, aged 45 years and weighing 150kg, was rescued from a fishing trap near Failaka Island and released after receiving medical attention. A tracking device was fixed to the turtle’s back to help study its movement.
