Ambassador al-Bader presenting his credentials

Jamal Nasser Sultan al-Bader has presented his credentials to the President of Peru, Ollanta Humala, as the first Ambassador of Qatar, in Lima last week.
“Al-Bader has been tasked with opening the new Qatari embassy in Peru, one of the world’s leading emerging markets and a prominent destination for foreign investment because of its strong economic stability and efficient public management,” a statement issued by the Peruvian embassy in Doha said.
“HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani is to participate in the III Summit of Heads of State and Government of South American – Arab Countries (ASPA), the most important bi-regional political meeting to be held on October 1 and 2 in Lima. Qatari businessmen will also participate in a CEO’s Business Forum, a platform for doing business with counterparts in all of South America,” the mission added.
