Doha Insurance has opened a full-fledged branch at the Souq Waqif. Inaugurating the new branch Doha Insurance chairman, Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser bin Khalid al-Thani said, “This is the first one we are opening in Doha and a few more are expected to be opened in different parts of the country in due course.”
On locating Doha Insurance’s first branch at Souq Waqif, Sheikh Nawaf said: “We preferred to have our first branch at the souq because it is a popular heritage spot. It is increasingly becoming a meeting point for nationals and expatriates alike.”
The branch will offer a range of insurance products and will be open from 8am to noon and 4pm to 8pm to enable customers to do business at their convenience.
The proximity of Doha Insurance branch to the traffic police station in Souq Waqif will be another incentive for customers.
In a statement, Sheikh Nawaf said: “The future for insurance business in the country is bright in light of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and the objectives set for Qatar National Vision 2030. We will strive to offer quality service from this vantage point and hope to increase the number of clients.”
