Ooredoo has launched ‘Hala International Saver Key’, a new service that enables customers to gain “incredible value” on international calls to some 121 most frequently-called countries.
The International Saver Key enables customers to call 121 countries for just Dh60 a minute, which Ooredoo termed as “one of the best rates in Qatar”.
Those subscribing to the key will also get discounted rates for SMS to these countries (down to Dh45 per SMS from Dh60 earlier).
The international key, which costs just QR1 a week, can be activated by sending the SMS ‘ISK’ to 121.
The key will renew automatically every week so customers can continue to enjoy saving. Customers can deactivate the service anytime by sending STOP ISK to 121.
Among the countries covered by the new key are such popular call destinations as India, Egypt, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, and South Africa. A full list of countries can be viewed at www.ooredoo.qa.
Ooredoo has a full range of options for Hala and Shahry customers looking to save money on international calling.
The ‘Friends & Family’ service can be subscribed to for QR10 a month by Hala and Shahry customers, for a 25% discount on the standard rate for three numbers.
For customers who make regular calls to a specific country, there are a range of international packs available.
The India International pack is QR1 for seven days, which allows customers to call India for just Dh19 a minute, can be activated by sending ‘IND’ to 121.
The ‘35 International Minutes’ option can be obtained for 17 countries at QR19 a month (Dh54 a minute) by sending ‘INT’ to 121.
Shahry customers also have the option of Shahry Packs, which offer bundles of call minutes, SMS and Mobile Data. By using the International Key, customers can turn Shahry Pack local minutes and SMS into international minutes and SMS.
The new Hala International Saver Key is the latest service from Ooredoo to ensure that customers enjoy more value on their international calls.
