The partnership between Commercial Bank and Manchester United offers an exclusive range of financial products to customers, which include a Current or Savings account with a debit card and two types of Manchester United credit card.
“This is a landmark partnership between the greatest football club in the world and Commercial Bank,” said Dean Proctor, executive general manager, retail and consumer banking.
All products come with attractive card designs branded with the Manchester United logo. Among many other features, Manchester United premier cardholders will also have access to the Commercial Bank rewards programme which allows them to transfer Commercial Bank Reward Points to FlyMiles or Accolades.
Additionally, access to over 450 airport lounges, travel insurance and exclusive merchant offers are part of the card offering.
In addition to the new range of products available, as part of the launch activities, every customer who applies for a Manchester United credit card will automatically enter a prize draw to win five top prizes of an all-expenses-paid dream trip to watch Manchester United train and play at Old Trafford from the comfort of a top hospitality suite. Runners up will win tickets to games or signed shirts.
A total of 35 winners will get an all expenses paid trip to watch Manchester United play at Old Trafford. The first 200 new Manchester United credit card customers will be invited to attend a live screening of a Manchester United game at a fan event in Doha with a prominent team legend. There are also 50 prizes of signed official Manchester United shirts.
There will also be a host of activities at Commercial Bank branches where credit card applicants can win Manchester United goodies, such as photographic prints depicting the team in action and signed pennants.
Manchester United, one of the most widely supported football teams in the world, was founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878. The club changed its name to Manchester United in 1902 and moved to Old Trafford in 1910.
Manchester United have won many trophies in English football, including a record 20 League titles, a record 11 FA Cups, four League Cups and a record 20 FA Community Shields.

Alex Ferguson won 28 major honours, and 38 in total, from November 1986 to May 2013, when he announced his retirement after 26 years at the club. Fellow Scot David Moyes was appointed as his replacement on May 9, 2013.
