Music conductor and composer Zubin Mehta and his wife Nancy Kovack prepare to sit with students after arriving at St Mary’s school, his alma mater, in Mumbai yesterday. Mehta led the Bavarian State Orchestra for a series of classical music concerts including one last week in the Mughal-era Shalimar Gardens on the banks of picturesque Dal Lake in Kashmir’s main city of Srinagar.
