Giant panda Wei Wei smells a birthday cake made of fruits and bamboo in its enclosure in Wuhan zoo, central China’s Hubei province, as the zoo celebrated its 8th birthday yesterday. Wei Wei came to Wuhan zoo in 2008 after the Sichuan earthquake near its old home in that northwest province.
