A view of the Eid bazaar
Over 4,000 visitors attended the Chand Raat Eid Bazaar organised by Pak Women’s Forum Qatar at Wakrah Stadium’s indoor football court on Thursday.
There were more than 70 stalls, showcasing Pakistani and Indian apparels, jewellery, bags and a food pavilion offering ethnic snacks as well as homemade dishes. Bouncy rides for children, henna, face painting, Babyshop kids fashion show and a quiz competition with winners taking home a diamond ring from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, and a gift voucher from Habibs Beauty were among the other attractions.
PWA president Rahat Mansoor said: “We were overwhelmed by the response. She thanked members of other communities who also participated in the bazaar and made it a grand success.”
