Qatar Automobiles Company (QAC) has announced that a 2004 Mitsubishi Pajero, belonging to Amro Abd al-Hamid (in picture with QAC officials), has achieved a milestone by clocking 532,000km over the past seven years with no history of any mechanical failure. The engine and transmission have never been opened during the vehicle’s operating lifetime, QAC said in a statement. “I got all the maintenance performed by QAC and until now, I only did oil changes when the wrench (sign) glowed on the dash. The vehicle still drives like it did on the first day I got it,” said al-Hamid. QAC general manager Ihab El Feky said: “This reflects Mitsubishi’s fine build quality and exceptional reliability. Our goal is to provide the best service to our clients to keep their cars in perfect condition.”
