This came as part of a number of activities undertaken by Qapco within the framework of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
As one of Qatar’s leading public sector shareholding companies, Qapco has continued to show its dedication to its employees and the community.
The event followed a series of charitable activities held during Ramadan by supporting the Sheikh Eid Charitable Association.
The Qapco Annual Eid reception was hosted by Vice Chairman and CEO Dr Mohamed Yousef al-Mulla, along with the company’s officers who welcomed more than 250 employees.
Al-Mulla said: “Our company is keen to help the preservation of our culture and traditions. The Eid gathering is always an opportunity for the Qapco family to meet each other in pleasant and festive surroundings, strengthening brotherly ties, which ultimately helps create a working environment that is conducive to the achievement of the company’s objectives.”
An employee said: “We are grateful to the Qapco management for its continued support to the employees. Events of this nature make Qapco a friendly environment to work, making us feel like part of an extended family rather than just colleagues.”
