Eid festivities at various malls around the country continued to draw hundreds of people yesterday.
There was a long queue at Hyatt Plaza theme park Jungle Zone yesterday with the renovated facility emerging as a popular destination this Eid holiday. A large number of children were waiting patiently for their turns at various games in the park.
An “interactive” show at the Food Court of Hyatt Plaza was a hit with many people enjoying the skills of artistes there.
“Kids love the Jungle Zone. It is crowded but that is normal and we enjoy the fun of it,” said a European mother .
Safari Mall at Abu Hamor received a large number of shoppers, especially in the evening, with most of them seeking a good deal at various promotions and offers, especially in electronics, electrical appliances and mobile phones.
Many families with young children headed to Aspire Park after sunset. The Sheraton Park also had a large number of visitors.
Souq Waqif with its various shows and Katara with its colourful water shows and fireworks also drew thousands during the first two days of Eid.
