Qatar Petroleum (QP) has held its Ramadan Ghabga under the patronage and in the presence of HE Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry.
The event, which is organised annually by QP’s department of public relations and communications on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, was attended by QP directors and department managers as well as CEOs, managing directors and other top officials of QP’s joint ventures and subsidiaries.
During the event, the minister exchanged Ramadan greetings with all distinguished guests and held conversations with senior officials on topics of mutual interest, thereby contributing to further strengthening the bond between QP directorates and departments and the invited companies.
Ghabga is considered one of the meals during Ramadan. Set between Iftar and Suhoor, it is a popular social tradition that has been practised for years in the Gulf.
QP organises special occasions like the Ghabga every year to promote friendship, brotherhood and a sense of community among all stakeholders in Qatar’s oil and gas industry.
