A delegation led by Sheikh Saud bin Nasser al-Thani, CEO of Qtel Qatar, visited children at Hamad Hospital last week, delivering gifts and balloons to lift their spirits during Ramadan.

The visit aimed to see as many of the children in the Unit as possible, particularly those staying for long-term treatment. The positive impact was immediately apparent, as the children happily received the visitors and were presented with special gifts that included iPads, toys and hundreds of balloons that brought huge smiles to the children’s faces.
Qtel has planned a series of hospital visits and charitable initiatives as part of the “Alkhair” (Goodness) campaign, which was designed to encourage Good Deeds during the Holy Month.
Every Qtel employee in the delegation volunteered to take part in the hospital visit, and every department of the company was represented by a volunteer.
Sheikh Saud bin Nasser said: “We are delighted to have been able to visit the children at Hamad Hospital Paediatric Unit to show our support for these remarkable patients and their families during this special time.”
In addition to the wide range of charitable activities, Qtel has created a special series of short films that focus on the impact of good deeds and which reflect the best elements of Qatari culture for the Alkhair campaign.
