Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Mega, a device that combines the portability and convenience of a smartphone with the power, multitasking capabilities and extensive viewing experience of a tablet.
The newest addition to the Galaxy family features an optimal viewing experience on a 6.3inch HD screen, yet is ultra-thin and portable enough to put into a pocket or hold in one hand.
Powered by the latest Android 4.2, Jelly Bean operating system and Dual Core processor, the Galaxy Mega provides a mix of popular smartphone and tablet features such as an effortless user experience, a split screen, multitasking between video, other apps and more.
“We are very excited and proud to introduce the Samsung Galaxy Mega to the region,” said Denzil D’Souza, head of the business planning division (IT Group), Samsung Gulf Electronics.
The highlights of the Galaxy Mega include a Super Clear HD LCD screen with landscape mode support, 8GB or 16GB internal memory with up to 64GB of expandable memory, both 3G and LTE connectivity and an enhanced 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, among others.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is now available in all leading retailers in Qatar at QR1,899.
