HSBC Qatar has launched the annual charity drive as part of its activities during Ramadan. It is the 6th consecutive year that the staff and customers of the bank are donating to families in need.
The charity drive which will run from today to Saturday, 3rd August, is an opportunity to donate clothes, toys, books and household items at designated collection boxes.
These boxes are placed at the HSBC branches located at Al Matar Street, Salwa Road and City Centre from 9am - 2pm. HSBC staff will collect and deliver the donations to Qatar Charity for distribution to families in need.
Janice Trindade, Manager Sustainability at HSBC Qatar said “Ramadan is a time to remember those less fortunate than us. This is the sixth consecutive year HSBC has organised this activity and every year we are overwhelmed by the support we receive from our customers and staff. We all have items at home that we no longer need but are still in good condition and it is a perfect opportunity for us to lend a helping hand to those in need in our communities.”
