HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari and Emre Yunt opening the The Sultan’s tent Bazaar

The Sultan’s tent at W Doha offers the perfect line-up for family and friends to come together to celebrate Ramadan.
The Sultan’s tent is inspired by a modern Ottoman theme ‘Fit for a Sultan’ with several stations featuring food from different parts of the world and with a Bazaar located at the entrance of the Tent on the mezzanine floor.
The Sultan’s tent Bazaar was officially opened by the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, and the Turkish Ambassador, Emre Yunt, on July 24. It showcases a wide variety of handmade goods and products such as traditional Turkish carpets, silver jewellery, embroideries, crystal, silver & copper tea and coffee sets, silk scarf, pillow cases, table-runners and bed covers all designed and offered by Turkish merchants from the Grand Bazaar in Turkey.
The Bazaar will be open to the public everyday from 12 noon to 2am during the holy month of Ramadan.
Safak Guvenc, general Manager W Doha Hotel & Residences, said: ‘The holy month of Ramadan is all about sharing and getting together with family and friends. At W Doha, we make sure we offer our guests the perfect place for their Iftars and Sohours . This year’s tent has an Ottoman inspired design and a real Bazaar that showcases products that have been brought all the way from the Grand Bazaar in Turkey.”
