Ooredoo has launched new Nojoom promotions for the holy month of Ramadan, allowing members to redeem their Nojoom points to donate to charity or for Iftar and Suhoor meals at luxury hotels.
During the holy month, Ooredoo’s interactive Alrabaa (friends) campaign brings to life the Qatari values of filling hearts with joy and giving back to the community. As part of the new Nojoom promotions tied to Alrabaa, Ooredoo’s Nojoom members can redeem their points to be donated to Qatar Charity, or for the first time, to Sheikh Eid bin Mohamed al-Thani Charitable Association. Nojoom members can donate either a set amount from QR25 up to QR2,000, or for Iftars for two, five or 10 people.
The Nojoom promotions can be accessed from the Ooredoo mobile app. From the app homepage, members can directly redeem their points to donate to charity and follow the counter of total Nojoom points redeemed and donated to charity.
Moreover, Nojoom members can treat family and friends to an Iftar or a Sohour meal at five of Qatar’s luxury five-star hotels. The participating hotels include The Ritz-Carlton Doha, Sharq Village & Spa, Oryx Rotana, The Torch Doha and Hilton Doha.
Mustafa al-Qatami, director of branding and corporate communication at Ooredoo, said: “In the sharing spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Nojoom is enabling members to care for those in need by donating money or Iftar meals to charity to help those in need. This is a special time to share with loved ones, and in response to customer demand, we’re also connecting our customers through the offer for Iftar and Sohour meals at leading hotels.”
For more information, customers can visit the Nojoom page of the Ooredoo website at www.ooredoo.qa, download the Ooredoo app or stop by any Ooredoo shop. Customers can also follow and join Ooredoo’s Alrabaa activities through www.ooredoo.qa or on the social media via the hashtag #alrabaa.
