Crowne Plaza Doha - The Business Park distributed more than 200 Iftar boxes among Karwa taxi drivers on Saturday. The initiative was part of the hotel’s activities during Ramadan. Members of the Crowne Plaza team distributed the boxes at the Event Centre. During Ramadan, Crowne Plaza Doha is offering a vast international menu for Iftar - from sunset until 8pm - at its theatre restaurant, Aramede. For Suhour, starting at 8pm, executive chef Dominique Morin is preparing hot and cold traditional dishes, including mezze, carvings of whole ouzis, along with grilled meats, seafood and Arabic desserts for only QR175. For all private and corporate gatherings, the Crowne Plaza team has turned the Event Centre’s ballrooms into a traditional set-up where visitors can gather with more than 350 friends and family members over Iftar or Suhour with a personalised menu. Visitors can leave their business cards for a chance to win tickets in a raffle draw organised by the official airline sponsor, Etihad Airways. This year, Ramadan at Crowne Plaza is sponsored by TransOrient Services, Etihad Airways, LG, Redco and iloveQatar.
