Vehicles jam in traffic on a street near Farmgate in Dhaka yesterday. Lack of skilled drivers and traffic police, faulty traffic signal systems and huge amount of vehicles are regarded the main reason for traffic congestions which create daily sufferings for commuters in the Bangladeshi capital. According to a study by Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, traffic jams are responsible for wasting 8.15mn of man-hours every day.
