As many as 32 counterfeit watches carrying labels of famous international brands have been seized during an inspection campaign conducted by the anti-commercial fraud section of the Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Business & Trade.
The inspection was carried out on stores in the Old Al Ghanim area as part of the ministry’s efforts to monitor markets and economic activities in Qatar in accordance with Law No. 8 of 2008. A total of 105 counterfeit watch frames were also seized by the officials.
