Dr Saifeldeen, Sykes and Marapidou cut the cake while others look on.

The month-long Kulluna for Health and Safety’s make-shift clinic about healthy heart concluded yesterday at the City Center mall.

More than 30,000 people visited the medical booths during the campaign, who underwent medical check-ups and learnt about how to safeguard their heart’s health.

Kulluna campaign- a brainchild of the Hamad Medical Corporation’s Hamad International Training Centre, is sponsored by Conocophilips Qatar.

Within the coming few days, Kulluna is planning a new campaign that will focus more attention on medical benefits of Ramadan and in the next three months to touch on lung related health issues such as asthma.

There are also plans to revisit past campaigns such as child safety at home and at the swimming pool, especially with the expected increase in the number of drowning incidence during the summer period, HITC executive director and Kulluna campaign co-ordinator Dr Khalid Abdulnoor Saifeldeen said.

Present at the closing ceremony was ConocoPhilips Qatar president Gary Sykes and City Center manager Ana Marapidou.
