The toppers:  Namra Aamir and  Amina Attique

Students of Pak Shamaa School outdid the competition from all other Pakistani schools in Qatar by topping their matriculation (Secondary School Certificate SSC-II) exams held under the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad.

The FBISE had announced the result on June 27, 2013.

Pak Shamaa School & College also claimed that two of their girl students not only had the highest marks in Qatar, but they were the top students in the entire Gulf region in the SSC exams.

The girls of Pak Shamaa School who topped the results were Namra Aamir (1st position with 985 out of 1050) and Amina Attique (2nd position, 982/1050).

The passing percentage for boys at the school was 95%. Ahmad Khalid (908) was the top scorer among the boys.

Principal Nabila Kaukab congratulated the teachers, parents and students for their excellent performance.

M A Shahid, president, school management committee, also applauded the staff.

The students of PEC Doha Qatar also got excellent results in the SSC Part-II annual examination.

PEC’s Iqra Ashraf stood first in her school by scoring 951 marks out of 1050. Mehtab Anjum got second position by securing 937 marks, while Qurat-ul-Ain stood third with 930 marks.

As many as 149 students appeared in SSC-II exam from PEC out of which 93% passed with 25 A1 grades, 42 A grades and 34 B grades.

The students who got A1 grades at PEC were: Mohamad Abaid-ur-Rehman (925), Saba Arshad (919), Rehma Siddique (916), Osama Mohamad Kaleem (915), Rida Ahmed (912), Tayyaba Tahir (910), Sumayya Azhar (909), Mohamad Usman (905), Muna Salam (891), Shaheriar Qureshi (890), Mishal Habib (889), Bushra Eman Noor (886), Zuha Sattar (884), Haroon Rasheed (882), Ahmed Sameed (881), Syeda Tooba Tariq (878), Noor-ul-Ain Khan (877), Aisha Bibi (876), Hassan Nadeem (867), Khansaa Abid (866), Abul Rahman Qamar (851) and Rutaba (851).

PEC Principal Nargis Raza Otho congratulated the students, staff and parents and hoped that they would continue with their efforts in bringing more laurels for the school.

Pakistan’s ambassador to Qatar, Syed Hassan Raza, also congratulated the school.

The students of Bright Future Pakistani International School also posted excellent result in the matric exams.

The BFPIS students achieved 100% pass percentage in their annual exams as all 31 students who appeared in the exams secured good grades.

Out of the 31students, 17 passed with A1 grades, seven obtained A and five students got B grades.

Hamza Farooq topped the school with 939 marks, whereas Iqra Waheed obtained second position by securing 938 marks.

Among other top achievers, Huzaifa Akram (914), Mohamad Ahmed (886), Shamaim Atta (880), Waijha Haji (884), Shahzaib Shahid (876), Sara Ishtiaque (827), Ayehsa Shahid (824), Hussam Babar (809), and Huda 808.

Principal Imran Waheed and chairman Abdul Rahman al-Meer congratulated the students on their outstanding achievement, and commended the efforts of the academic staff.
