Emir appoints Chief of Staff of Armed Forces

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani  has issued  Emiri decision No 71  of 2013 appointing HE Air Vice-Marshal Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
The Emiri decision annulled all provisions contravening its rules.
The Emiri decision is to go into effect as of issuance date and is to be published in the official gazette.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has issued an Emiri order appointing HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdul Aziz al-Thani as Director of the Office of the Emir.
The Emiri order annulled any provision contravening its rules.
The Emiri order shall go into effect from the date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has issued an Emiri order appointing  HE Hamad bin Khalifa al-Attiyah as the Special Adviser to HH the Emir.
The Emiri order annulled all provisions contravening its rules.
The Emiri order is to go into effect from the date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to the president of Croatia on his country’s National Day.
HH the Emir and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister have also sent congratulatory cables to the presidents of Slovenia, Mozambique and Djibouti on their country’s National Day.
