The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial closure of the Mesaimeer–Al Sakhama roundabout during June 27-30.
Ashghal said the closure and the planned detour (as shown in the map) are part of the infrastructure development works in the Al Nuaija 44 area.
Traffic will be diverted through alternative roads to Al Sakhama Street.
According to Ashghal, the closure has been scheduled over the weekend to minimise impact on regular traffic. “Diverting traffic away from the main construction area will ensure safety and smooth traffic flow on both Al Sakhama and Mesaimeer Streets,” an Ashghal statement said.
