Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) is launching a special International Summer Spends promotion, which gives customers the chance to win back everything they spend internationally using their Visa cards between June 1 and August 31.
All of QIB’s Visa cardholders are eligible for the prize draw every time they use any of the bank’s credit/debit cards for purchases outside Qatar.
QIB’s Summer Spends promotion will enable 10 lucky winners, who will be selected from a random draw, to win back their total international point-of-sale amounts spent up to a certain level.
Supplementary cards will be eligible and included with the primary cardholder; however, only active cards at the time of the draw will be eligible to enter. The draw will be held in September.
QIB cards are accepted locally and internationally at millions of electronic selling points, merchant outlets and 1.8mn ATMs in banks, airports and retailers worldwide. All QIB cards offer a fast and convenient way to shop, especially for travellers.
The debit (Visa) cards enable users to withdraw cash 24/7 or pay for purchases from current or savings accounts within the limits of one’s balance. With the QIB Classic/Gold/Platinum credit cards, users can enjoy a number of discounts at international restaurants and hotels. The QIB-Qatar Airways co-branded card comes with free membership to Burgundy level in Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club and allows one to earn bonus Qmiles every time the card is used.
