The event was attended by a large number of community members, parents and professionals.
At the opening of the programme, school principal Nabila Kaukab thanked the audience and deliberated on the ongoing changes, highlighted the programme, and clarified that while introducing “Cambridge” the school will maintain its previous system of education intact.
She also mentioned that Cambridge will be operated by a totally new team with its own teaching and administrative staff.
She also introduced British Council-Qatar Examinations deputy regional manager Dhiraj Gurung, who congratulated the school for the initiative and assured full co-operation from his office for the smooth transition and a successful launch of the Cambridge at Pak Shamaa.
Adamsonian Institute Business Development manager Dave Trevena made a presentation on the history of the University of Cambridge and its commitment for sustainable education.
He also highlighted Cambridge’s pride, trial and error in making one of the best international system of education, as well as its relevance to Pakistan and Pakistani students.
Adamsonian Institute chairman Zafar Satti made a short presentation on the mechanics of Cambridge education system, elaborating on the classes currently being offered, the subjects to taught, the commencement of classes, recruitment of internationally qualified teachers from the UK, New Zealand and South Africa.
The school president M A Shahid thanked all the participants and expressed his joy for the positive changes underway.
