Mohamed al-Shafi: CMC member
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will install street lighting for the internal roads at West Al Rayyan and Al Wajbah areas next month.
Mohamed al-Shafi, Central Municipal Council (CMC) member for New Al Rayyan Municipality, said that he had submitted requests in this regard to Ashghal.
“It is my duty and responsibility to cater to the concerns and demands of people,” he said.
Al-Shafi explained that Ashghal had planned several projects to renovate and maintain the infrastructure in the area. “Water and sanitary drainage networks are also scheduled for replacement with upgraded ones. Further, permanent road networks are being finalised,” he added.
Al-Shafi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Ashghal and its chairman Nasser al-Mawlawi for the timely response as well for maintaining a constant communication.
