At least 33 people were injured in a pile-up involving two coaches and a tanker on a highway in western Sweden yesterday, police and hospital sources said.
That accident caused long traffic jams as ambulances ferried the injured to Orebro University Hospital in Orebro, 200km west of Stockholm.
Eight of the injured had more serious injuries but they were not life-threatening, hospital spokeswoman Ulrika Julin told DPA.
One of the buses had been carrying school pupils to Stockholm, while the other was a tourist coach.
