Commercial Bank is offering free online international money transfers until December 2014 for customers who pay their phone or utility bills online.
Customers who use Commercial Bank’s personal Internet banking or mobile banking to pay Ooredoo / Vodafone / Kahramaa bills will enjoy up to two free international online money transfers a month until December 2014.
Customers who are new to Qatar and have signed up with the bank will automatically be entitled to two free international online transfers a month for their first three months in the country to give them time to set up payments and obtain utility contracts as new residents.
Commercial Bank said the offer was the latest innovation for its growing number of online banking customers.
The services are fast growing in popularity as customers discover the convenience and simplicity of managing their banking online.
Once registered, customers can easily and quickly set up their utility accounts so that all bill payments can be made directly from their Commercial Bank account.
Customers can also make credit card payments, view statements online, settle bill payments to a variety of companies, including schools, and request cash advances instantly from their credit cards through a few quick and easy steps online.
Commercial Bank executive general manager (Retail and Consumer Banking) Dean M Proctor said: “This offer is another example of our commitment to provide all of our customers with the best and most innovative banking products and services.
