Sherborne Qatar has raised more than QR36,000 for Qatar Dhreima Orphanage during a Family Fun Day organised to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.
The event was attended by over 1,400 people.
Sherborne assistant head Richard Williams presented the cheque to Dhreima’s Media Services head Munaira yesterday.
“An important part of Sherborne is community involvement and we are very pleased to be able to support Dhreima Orphanage in Qatar, they do a great job of caring for orphans in Qatar,” Williams said.
