HE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri signed an agreement with secretary general of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pierre Sellal related to the Qatari-French School (Lycee Franco-Qatarien Voltaire).
The agreement aims to work out new mechanisms to secure the commitment to the best standards of quality and Qatari and French educational systems and to attract the most qualified teachers.
The agreement will also take into account the characteristics of the Qatari society and standards approved by the Supreme Education Council in Qatar, especially with regard to the teaching of Islamic Shariah, Arabic language and the history of Qatar, in addition to the educational programme approved by the  French Ministry of National Education, Youth, and Sport.
Through this agreement Qatari students will be equipped to sit for all examinations of French educational institutions.
The educational programme at all stages relies primarily on three languages and two cultures. After obtaining the French high school certificate or the certificate of the International School of Geneva, students can join any university in the world.
