S Indian singers to perform at cultural event

Socio-cultural organisation Samanvayam is set to celebrate its annual cultural extravaganza, Sopaanam 2013, from 6.30pm on Friday.
The event will be held at the Royal Tent of the Diplomatic Club.
Well-known South Indian singer Anuradha Sriram will lead the concert along with Sreenath of Idea Star Singer fame.
Anuradha specialises in Carnatic music and has performed more than 3,000 songs in various languages and over 1,000 concerts worldwide.
Providing the music will be Star Orchestra, the leading instrumental performers of South India.
The orchestra includes Anoop (keyboard), Ajayakumar (rhythm pad), Michael (tabla), Sudhendu Raj (guitar) and Anil (flute).
