CGC and Rapido officials exchanging the agreement
Consolidated Gulf Company (CGC) has sealed a vehicle tracking contract with Rapido Pest Control company.
CGC will supply and install automatic vehicle location system (AVLS) on Rapido’s fleet of vehicles.
Raman Gaind, business manager, CGC, and Omar M Hejleh, general manager, Rapido, were the signatories.
Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC, said a number of leading industry players from diversified business streams such as construction, hotel chains, hypermarkets, banks, insurance and rent-a-car companies have benefitted from CGC’s expertise, knowhow and service support.
“AVLS has proved to be valuable in terms of centralised fleet management, fuel saving and prohibiting vehicle misuse, if any,” he said.
Shorter trip times, higher punctuality and greater convenience are some key benefits accruing from the tracking system.
Hejleh said the objective is to optimise Rapido’s supply chain and strengthen the delivery mechanism in alignment with high standards and consistency required for effective pest control management.
