To coincide with the World Environment Week celebrations, LG & Jumbo Electronics Qatar initiated several activities.
Jumbo launched a programme to recycle old mobile phones through a trade-in scheme. Through this programme, Jumbo Electronics is offering amazing discounts to encourage customers to dispose e-waste in an environment friendly way.
To encourage children, Jumbo has scheduled drawing competitions using crayons or colour pencils for the 8-11 and 12–15 years age-groups and essay competitions in Arabic or English (15-17 years age-group). Entry details can be found on the website www.jumboqatar.net. Participating children will have opportunities to win attractive prizes. Jumbo’s ‘Plant-a-Tree this Summer’ campaign was held on Saturday (June 9) during which saplings were distributed to customers at the Jumbo Electronics showrooms at the Barwa Village .
