The three-hour programme featured select songs by singers of all ages trained by Veena Rebimbus Pais, the talented daughter of the legend and a resident of Qatar.
The young dancers performed a ballet and actors enacted two songs to the delight of the crowd. There was also a poetry recitation by local poets moderated by Gladson Almeida. The event organised in association with Media Plus was presented by the renowned Konkani artist, poet and dramatist, Eddie Sequeira, who conceptualised and directed the programme.
