Al-Kalla with the winners of contests held as part of World Environment Day 2012 celebrations

Winners of the painting contest held as part of Qatar’s World Environment Day 2012 celebrations were announced by Al Khaliji Commercial Bank (al khaliji) QSC recently.
Al khaliji provided support as Platinum Sponsor to raise awareness of this year’s theme “A Green Economy – does it include you?” with highly-engaging activities over the course of the week.
Al khaliji head of public relations and communications Abeer al-Kalla handed out the awards to the winners.
“Because a green economy includes everybody, al khaliji is here again for the second consecutive year supporting World Environment Day,” said al-Kalla as she gave away the certificates.
Qatar’s World Environment Day 2012 was again organised by the Friends of the Environment Centre (FEC) and under the auspices of Dr Saif Ali al-Hajari, FEC chairman and vice-chairman of the Qatar Foundation.
