HH the Heir Apparent and Chairman of Qatar Leadership Centre’s Board of Directors Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani presided over a centre’s meeting yesterday at his Emiri Diwan office.
During the meeting, the centre’s programmes were reviewed.
Also reviewed were the government leaderships programme (in Arabic), the Centre’s regulations, and the Centre’s plan of action. A number of decisions and recommendations were taken in this regard.
Minister meets UK police delegation
HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday met a delegation from London’s Metropolitan Police.
The two sides discussed aspects of co-operation in issues of mutual concern.
Qatar-Sweden ties discussed
HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali bin Fahad al-Hajri conferred with Jean Tislev, the special representative of the Swedish foreign ministry and liaison officer with the Syrian opposition, who is now visiting Qatar.
They discussed bilateral relations and means of bolstering them in addition to other matters of mutual concern.
Cuban Deputy FM in Doha talks
The foreign ministries of Qatar and Cuba yesterday held a round of political talks at the foreign ministry headquarters.
The talks were chaired by HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali bin Fahad al-Hajri and Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra Diaz.
