Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Qatar, will support HH the Emir Cup 2013 football tournament, it was announced at a press meet yesterday. Qatar Football Association and Toyota officials addressed the meet to provide the details.
The firm is the sponsoring partner of the tournament and Toyota & Lexus are the official cars for the event.
It will provide Lexus cars to facilitate movement of VIPs. Toyota Coaster buses will be used to transport spectators from parking to the stadium. Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co. said they were proud to partner with Qatar Football Association (QFA) in promoting and supporting football in Qatar.
Ahmed al-Buainain, treasurer of QFA said: “QFA is keen on developing the existing relationship with AAB/Toyota and will be working together on new projects and new ideas to show the strength of this relationship and the commitment of the two parties in collaborating and encouraging football in Qatar.”
Dr Nasser Abdulghani, managing director of AAB said: “We are delighted to cooperate with QFA once again this year and are pleased to build upon the existing relationship which has been in place for years now. We are confident that this cooperation will result in a successful tournament once again this year.”
Khalid al-Kuwari, director of marketing and communications at QFA said: “We are proud to partner again with AAB. Toyota has demonstrated its belief in local football by supporting QFA for the past 10 years.” He added: “We wish Toyota the best of luck this season and look forward to working with them again in the near future.”
