VLCC, one of the region’s premier scientific slimming, beauty and preventive healthcare brands, yesterday opened its second slimming, skin and hair care centre in Doha at Al Duhail. Qatar Chamber vice chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Towar al-Kuwari formally inaugurated the new centre.

Al-Kuwari inaugurates the centre as Indian Ambassador Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, Japanese Ambassador Kenjiro Monji and other dignitaries look on
“VLCC’s first centre in Doha was started in early 2011 and has made a strong mark within a year. The second VLCC centre is in line with our commitment to provide consumers with state-of-the-art slimming, skin and hair services, in a congenial and comfortable environment. In a span of 6 years we already have a flourishing network of 17 VLCC centres across Qatar, UAE, Bahrain and Oman, with an investment of nearly $30mn,” said VLCC Group chairman Mukesh Luthra.
VLCC’s Qatar partner is International Projects Development Co and its chairman, Ahmed bin Hussain al-Khalaf, said: “The opening of this centre is another step towards raising the standards of quality preventive healthcare services in Qatar. VLCC represents a movement in support of a healthy lifestyle, and that is what appeals to me personally. In my opinion, VLCC’s approach to promoting a holistic way to wellness is extremely relevant in the context of today’s prevailing sedentary, yet high-stress, lifestyle.”
VLCC Al Duhail is located at House No. 21, Al Khafaji Street, Environment Roundabout.
