HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani chaired yesterday the second meeting of the Supreme Committee for Development Planning for 2013.
The meeting, held at the Emiri Diwan this morning, reviewed the progress of implementation of the National Development Strategy 2011-2016 in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030, the development of strategic planning policies in ministries and government agencies, and the preparation of development plans and co-ordination between them.
The meeting also assessed accomplishments in achieving sustainable economic growth and human and social development; as well as the modernisation and development of public sector institutions, and took a number of decisions.
