The Ministerial Committee for Arab Peace Initiative, chaired by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, held a consultative meeting on Sunday night here.
The meeting was attended by Arab League Secretary-General Nabil al-Arabi.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the latest developments of the Arab initiative.
The meeting discussed the efforts made by the Peace Initiative Committee under the chairmanship of the State of Qatar to formulate a unified Arab stand on the Palestinian issue, before the meeting US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Talks during the meeting also dealt with the latest developments in the Palestinian cause and the Arab-Palestinian steps to be taken in the next phase.
