The General Directorate of Customs (GDC) has finalised its strategic plan for 2013-2016, aiming at improving its performance, offering better services, protecting the society and the environment and combating potential commercial counterfeit.
The plan was mainly tailored to achieve Qatar Vision 2030.
The director general of GDC Ahmed al-Muhannadi said that strategic planning is a guaranteed method for attaining the future objectives of the Directorate and upgrading its services offering the best possible public services.
“We aim at achieving quality in all related administrative and field spheres of our work,” he said.
He pointed out that GDC had based the plan on a field study of the positive and negative points of the actual situation of GDC, indicating that future work would focus on sustaining the positive things and addressing shortcomings.
Qatar condoles Moscow fire tragedy victims
