Students of three Indian schools in Qatar who appeared in the Class 10 examination under CBSE international stream have passed with high grades. The results were published last Thursday.
While eight students at MES Indian School secured A1 in all five subjects, five out of 26 students from Doha Modern Indian School also passed with A1 in all subjects.
This was the first batch for Class 10 under CBSE International stream.
At MES Indian School, all 46 students who took the Class 10 exam were
successful.
While 26 students obtained A1 in English, 16 got A1 in mathematics and social science and 10 received A1 in science.
A1’s in languages are: 6/7 (Urdu), 4/11 (Arabic), 6/10 (French), 5/11 (Hindi) and 3/7 (Malayalam).
The students who have secured A1 in all subjects are Alfred Godwin, Afreenuzzaman Adruzzaman, Khawaja Mohsin Majeed, Rahul James, Yusuf Hussain, Adlin Sharon Vinola, Fouziya Solank, Irene Sara Thomas.
“There has been a very positive response from the parents and teachers to the CBSE-international curriculum. The results stand testimony to the performance of our students,” said Aleyamma Mathew, officiating principal, MES Indian School.
MES Indian School’s CBSE (national) stream students also performed well, with 119 of them scoring A1, the highest grade in all five subjects.
At Doha Modern Indian School, the five who secured A1 in all five disciplines include Adil Mohamed, Amal Fathima Sameer, Aysha Nihala Reyes, Suzan Shajil and Nikhila Liz Wilson.

All 12 students who appeared for Class 10 examination in the CBSE international examination from Shantiniketan Indian School have passed out. The highest grade score at the school is 9.8. Seven students secured a Cumulative Grade Score Assessment (CGSA) of more than 9.
