Indonesian Greenpeace activists protest during an anti-toxic campaign in Jakarta yesterday. An Indonesian textile company, linked to international fashion companies such as GAP, Banana Republic and Old Navy have been contributing to the Citarum river’s pollution as it allegedly dumped toxic waste directly into the river, Greenpeace said. Citarum river in West Java province is one of world’s most polluted river.
