Ooredoo yesterday launched four new Hala Weekly Packs, providing great value for local and international calls, SMS and mobile data, in a special offer that is available until July 9.
The four Hala Weekly Packs are priced at QR10, QR15, QR25 and QR40, allowing customers to pick the pack and the price that best meets their needs.
For the best value, the QR40 Weekly Pack provides customers with 200 local minutes and SMS, 20 international minutes and SMS - offering the equivalent of 18dhs per minute - plus 20MB of data. The combination of international and local minutes means this pack delivers some of the best rates in Qatar for Ooredoo customers to enjoy.
Alternatively, customers can choose the QR10 Weekly Pack, with 35 local calling minutes and SMS (for 29dhs/minute) and 5MB of data.
To subscribe to the service, customers can send an SMS reading “WP amount” to the short code, 121. For example, to subscribe to the QR40 Pack, customers should send an SMS reading “WP 40” to 121.
In order to provide the best value, Hala Weekly Packs renew automatically every week. If customers do not have the required balance for renewal, they will be charged standard Hala rates. Customers can also change Hala Weekly Packs when their current pack expires. To end the service, one has to send an SMS reading “Stop WP” to 121.
Hala Weekly Packs are available for use only in Qatar and not for roaming. If customers are travelling, they have to subscribe to Ooredoo Passport, which provides 1GB and 100 calling minutes for seven days, priced at QR100.
Hala Weekly Packs complement the recently-launched Hala Daily Mobile Internet Packs and revamped monthly Shahry Mobile Internet Packs.
Customers can top up their Hala accounts in a variety of ways: in person at any Ooredoo shop, with a scratch card, through direct top-up at any of the more than 200 Ooredoo self-service machines, or by eTopUp on the Ooredoo website, www.ooredoo.qa
