The grand opening of the Fashion Asia Fascination (FAF), a cluster of more than 200 retail business establishments and restaurants in a new generation commercial complex will take place on May 25.
FAF officials announce details of the inaugural ceremony
The inaugural ceremony is named “EGO” (expect miracles grand opening).
South Indian film star Sharat Kumar will be the chief guest at the inauguration, scheduled for 7pm.
Announcing this yesterday, the business complex officials said the FAF is an innovation in business where a large number of trendsetter brands are rallying under a single umbrella.
The outlets in each category are separated inside the complex by what the promoters refer to as “streets”. They said 13 restaurants would eventually be located in the complex, located on Airport Road.
The major attraction at the complex is Market Plus, a supermarket, they said.
At the inaugural ceremony, a cultural show featuring artistes from the Indian film industry will be held among other attractions.
Director Jayaraj will be leading a team which includes promising violinist Balabhasker.
Bands from India, Sri Lanka, Philippines and the Arab region will entertain visitors at the opening ceremony to which entry is free.
At the briefing where the inaugural ceremony schedule was announced, FAF president R J Sajith, chairman Hassan al-Baker, vice president Abdur Gaffoor Bumei, mall manager Refat Fayees, managing partner Sajeeb Abootty and director of Anjappar Restaurant Gopi Varadhan also spoke.
