Qatar Chamber received yesterday a delegation of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development headed by its secretary general Rashad Mabger.

The Qatari business group was headed by Abul Rahman Abdul Jaleeil Abul Ghani, member of the board and Remy Ruhani, general manager of the Chamber.
Abul Ghani stressed the importance of such meetings that open channels of communication between Qatari businessmen and their counterparts around the world. He pointed out that Qatar is experiencing a phase of great development based on a diversified economy, making Qatar’s economy one of the fastest growing globally.
He also called for the establishment of real partnerships between Qatari and Greek businessmen that would enhance the economies of both the two friendly countries. Mabger appreciated the “unprecedented development going on in Qatar in all fields, politics, economics and humanitarian.”
He indicated that Greece is a country of great and deep-rooted history and civilisation and the current economic crisis there is a passing stage that any country could go through. “We are working to build a strong economy that would help get Greek out of this stronger than before and challenge all possible future difficulties and hurdles,” he said.
